Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ForgeLifting web application available at forgelifting.app (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ForgeLifting, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ForgeLifting is a workout tracking web application. It allows you to log exercises, track personal records, follow training programs, monitor volume and measurements, and optionally post activities to Strava. The Service is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and works offline.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

The Service is available in two tiers:

• Free: Full access to core features, supported by advertising on non-workout screens.
• Pro: £3.99/month or £29.99/year. Removes all advertising and unlocks AI features. Includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges. AI features are subject to daily usage limits which are displayed within the app.

Prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Subscriptions and Cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.

5. Your Account

You may use the Service without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at hello@forgelifting.app.

6. Your Data

You own your workout data. We store it to provide the Service and will not sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission.

8. Health Disclaimer

ForgeLifting provides workout tracking tools and informational coaching cues only. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Exercise carries inherent risk of injury. Before starting any exercise programme, consult a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not liable for any injury or health issue arising from use of the Service.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Strava, Stripe, and Google AdSense. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

The ForgeLifting name, logo, design, and all content (excluding your personal data) are the intellectual property of ForgeLifting. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ForgeLifting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
